The Challenge

Impertion was engaged by an ERP software company to provide demand generation support for their channel partners across EMEA. Although our CIOshared.com community is global in nature, the client was only seeking new methods to increase traction for their solutions in Europe and the Middle East.

 

The Solution

Our client required “Leads” to meet the following criteria:

  • Titles: IT, Operations or Finance
  • Industries: 20 specific industries only
  • Europe or Middle East
  • Companies with more than 50 employees

 

The Impertion team developed a landing page with registration and the white paper downloadable on the community and promoted this to Members matching the criteria.

The client provided a research-based white paper written by an independent third party, but sponsored by our Client. Impertion delivered a white paper download campaign that was part of an integrated demand generation process. Once people matching the target criteria registered for the white paper they were then automatically brought through a best-in-class automated lead nurturing process with lead scoring.  This enabled Impertion and our client to identify prospects that were "hyper-engaged" with the content and therefore displayed a high probability of being in the buying process for this type of technology solution. These "hyper-engaged" leads were then passed to the clients internal tele team with a view to converting these "warm leads" to "sales ready" for the field sales team and channel partners.

The Results

The target for the pilot campaign of 50 downloads was reached within the first month of the campaign. A second campaign extension was launched which led to an additional 250 downloads meeting the lead criteria within the following three months.

The campaign, focused purely on North America, was part of an integrated demand generation process. Once people matching the target criteria registered for the white paper they would then go directly into a phased nurture stream using multiple pieces of thought leadership content. Those leads that scored a high rate of engagement with the content were then followed up with by a telemarketing team, with a view to being further qualified in the sales process.

– CFO’s, COO’s or VP / Director / Manager in Finance or Audit
– North America
– Companies with more than 500 employees

The Results

The target for the pilot campaign of 200 leads was reached within the first month of the campaign. Multiple campaigns have subsequently been run with this agency for their client, across a range of technology areas, from data security to contact center technologies.

Scoring leads for multiple engagements with the content was a game-changer for the client and led to much higher lead conversion to sales rates than any previous campaigns.

The campaign, focused purely on Asia, was part of an integrated demand generation process. Once people matching the targeting criteria registered for the eBook they would then be followed up with by a telemarketing team, with a view to being further qualified in the sales process.

The Solution

The target for Q1 of 600 downloads was reached within the first month of the campaign. A follow on campaign for another 200 downloads was ordered for Q2. Both the Agency and their client were delighted with the results, and the feedback from Members of our community about the eBook was wholly positive. Feedback from the Client was that these "warm leads" converted to closed deals beyond the standard benchmark rate.

Titles: Design or Mechanical Engineers
Industries: 20 specific industries only
UK only Companies with more than 100 employees
The Impertion team developed a landing page with registration and the white paper downloadable on the community and promoted this to Members matching the criteria.
 

The Results

The target for the pilot campaign of 75 downloads was reached within the first month of the campaign.

According to our client, “We were pleasantly surprised with the results of the campaign on EngineeringShared.com. Although our US colleagues frequently use white paper downloads as a marketing tactic, it was the first time that we ran a dedicated campaign such as this focused purely on the UK.
